When some people think about their own life, they think about numbers and rules and policies.
To those people, their life is like a machine with pieces that need to fit perfectly right.
That’s definitely not how I look at mine.
I think that life is less a machine and more like those hypnotic videos of people mixing paint together. It’s never exactly the same as the time before, and the possibilities are quite literally infinite.
Life is full of color and emotion and constant change. Yet it also contains darkness, twisty roads, and sharp corners. It all depends on what you make of it.

I know it may sound cliché, but I’m here to motivate you. But first, let me start off with a little story. When I was about 11 years old, I went on a camping trip up north with my family. We set everything up and then fell asleep in our tents. Because I lived in the city, looking up at the sky to see nothing but bursts of stars was a huge shock for me. It was like looking into a billion more tiny worlds that nobody on Earth had, or even could have, imagined.
That's when I realized how minuscule I am in comparison to this world. We all are.
Even though human life may be but a blip in time, and each of us may individually be only a small part of it, each and every one of us is still capable of experiencing love, beauty, excitement, and every other magical thing that this world has to offer.
Don’t settle for ordinary. Live for you and only you. Never live to please others, especially when their happiness is at the expense of yours. Follow the path that’s meant for you. So what if you fail? You're following your dreams, and it shouldn't be a problem to anyone else but you. Your passions and talents have value and don’t ever let ANYONE dull your shine.
After all, we only get one chance at life. There isn't any rehearsal.
