Best Snacks at Disneyland

Disneyland is filled with many delicious foods but unfortunately, due to COVID-19, it has unfortunately closed. Disneyland was planning to reopen on July 17, however in recent news, Disneyland has announced that they are pushing back their reopening date. I am personally a huge Disney fan and I even have annual passes to Disneyland, so it’s definitely sad that the parks have been closed for this long but it  is necessary to protect our community. However, on the behalf of QuaranTEEN, I am here to provide a list of delicious snacks that you should definitely try when Disneyland reopens!

1. Churros

Churros are definitely a go-to snack at Disneyland, I get it everytime I go! It is a warm fried-dough dessert that is covered in delicious cinnamon sugar. It is a perfect quick snack for waiting in line or even just on the go while walking from park to park as it is in the shape of a stick. They also make fun limited edition flavors too such as the Pineapple Marshmallow Churro and the Cocoa Churro. The Pineapple Marshmallow Churro had an interesting combination with the churro being pineapple flavored and it came with marshmallow sauce to dip with, it was also covered in sparkling sugar. The Cocoa Churro was covered in chocolate powder but still has the cinnamon sugar on it as well having Mexican chocolate dipping sauce to dip in! The churros cost $4.75 and they are found in the churro carts all over Disneyland.

2. Mickey-Shaped Pretzels

The Mickey-Shaped Pretzels are some of the cutest and most fun snacks to eat while on the go in Disneyland. They are the perfect size and are such a cute snack to take a photo of. Usually, I don’t just eat the pretzel plain, however you can’t go wrong with the plain version. Instead, I usually order it with a side of dipping cheese or sometimes I get the Cream Cheese-filled Pretzel which is also very delicious. If you want a little spicier option, there is also a Jalapeno Cheese-filled Pretzel! The pretzel costs $4.79 with the cheese costing extra. The Cream Cheese-filled  Pretzel and Jalapeno Cheese-filled Pretzel both cost $5.59. You can find these at the food carts around Disneyland as well as the Refreshment Corner on Main Street U.S.A.

3. The Safari Skewer

The Safari Skewer is one of the most unique snacks at Disneyland. The skewer has grilled asparagus on it with bacon wrapped around the asparagus. It also comes with a few slices of lemon and I highly recommend squeezing some of the juice on the skewer before trying! It is such a delicious snack. To pair with this snack, I also recommend trying the “Jungle Julep” with it which is a slush with pineapple, orange, grape, and lemon juices. It is served at the Bengal Barbecue in Adventureland for $4.99.
