I’m one of the few teenagers who love having milk and cookies as an evening snack. Many of my friends claim that it is a bit “kiddish” for a teenager to have that as a snack. But, I just can’t resist especially after figuring out how to bake my own cookies, this has been amazing. I absolutely love them, and to be honest they taste even better than store-bought ones! These can be eaten plain, with milk, with Nutella in the middle, or just however YOU want! Here’s your guide to baking the most delicious chocolate chip cookies ever!
Unsalted butter (See notes if you do not have unsalted butter)
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Add ¼ cup unsalted butter, and ¼ cup + 2 tbsp powdered sugar.
Whisk it and make it soft and airy.
Add 1/2 tsp baking powder and ¾ cup flour and sift it into the bowl.
Add a pinch of salt.
Add ½ tsp vanilla essence.
Knead it to form a rollable consistency dough.
Add ¼ cup chocolate chips.
Roll them into balls and add a few more chocolate chips on top.
Place them in the tray with equal distance.
Pop it in the oven for 20 minutes!
If you do not have unsalted butter use salt butter and do not add any salt after.
