Calling all new bakers… try out this easy banana muffins recipe, made completely from scratch! I promise that this recipe will leave you completely shocked as to how good it tastes, and all it takes is just one hour of your time!
1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
3 large mashed bananas
¾ cup of sugar
⅓ cup butter
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a large-sized bowl, whisk together bananas, sugar, egg, and butter.
Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt above your previous mixture and whisk again.
Continue whisking until you get a smooth batter. Make sure to not have any lumps!
Grease your muffin pan or use paper liners. (If you do not have a muffin pan use a regular tray but double the paper liners to keep the cake in shape when baking.)
Scoop the batter into the pan or paper liners until ¾ full.
Bake for 10-15 minutes for mini muffins, and 25-30 for larger muffins.
If your bananas are ripe and sweet you can reduce the amount of sugar.
If you do not want to use butter, oil works just as fine!
Before you put your muffins for baking, you can add some chocolate chips, if you’re a chocolate lover!
To make sure your muffins have baked perfectly you can stab a toothpick in the middle of the muffin, if it comes out clean it is ready if not you should put it back for more time. Once your muffins are ready they should spring back up after lightly tapping it.
